Sinopsis:
A reckless kid (Wu Yuan-chin) is brought up in a temple and destined to be a buddhist monk although apparently unsuited for such a calling
There he learns a unique martial arts technique known as Crazy Lo Han Fist, and is temporarily sent away from the temple by his master to perfect his skills
The kid runs up against a bandit’s son Wang Kuan (Lin Hui-huang), a cruel man who persecutes the local villagers, He assists an upright local youth called Chan Hei in overcoming Wang, and Chan Hei becomes the kid’s disciple out of gratitude
The good deeds of the kid and Chan Hei are recognised by the village elder, who helps them to set up a restaurant. The Kid marries Lady San (Huang Wei-wei), a prostitute he has rescued from Wang’s clutches. Wang soon tries to get her back, but after several unsuccessful attempts finally murders her
The kid now seeks his revenge, and with his new mastery of the Crazy Lo Han Fist defeats Wang and his ruffians. Eventually, his destiny brings him back to the temple where he at last becomes a true buddhist monk
